MISSION SUNDAY...Fifth Sunday in the life of First Baptist Church is always “Missions Day.” We know that each of us who has accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior is commissioned to be “missionary minded” This means, we should enthusiastically embrace the notion to share the gospel whenever we can and meet the needs of people as best we can, whenever we can. On Fifth Sunday, we pause to encourage the entire congregation to be missionary minded in their daily lives. It is also a time when we honor those persons who have publicly and by their works, declared, “they are missionaries for Jesus Christ.” Come and celebrate with us during the 7:50 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. services as we lift us all that is good, holy and redeeming in the life of missionaries.
